I applied for the sponsorship of my mother. My application was received on 2nd January 2015 at 09:41 AM. My certified cheque got en cashed on 13th January and am still waiting for the acceptance letter. Please update this information in your spreadsheet and also send me the link to the sheet.

Congratulations, Tim! You are the first one who got his certified cheque cashed. It is amazing they cashed it on 13th....only 7 businesss days after they recieved it. I am following this forum since day one. I am very fed up with how this whole system works. However, hopefully more good news will come!

My CC was charged yesterday and it showed up this afternoon. My delivery was Jan 5th 8:48am by Purolator. Phew.... finally, it made my day. Thanks to the people who made the spreadsheet and those who shared their information. I really appreciate it. Good luck to everyone else who are still waiting.

Yes, there's one forum member, his/her CC was charged today. Mine hasn't...
I was told by Canada Post that there was only one delivery on Jan 5th so i assume that all ours were delivered at same time. but it also means that hundreds
are delivered at same time.

Mine was Canada Post delivered at 11:00 AM

Hello, I found this site yesterdays, and have been catching up. We sent our application on Jan 3rd, and my husband lost the receipt! I remember the UPS clerk told us it would get to the CIC on the 6th the earliest! I had no idea the process was so intense! It looks like we are out of luck this year :'(

Congrats to all who made it to first 5000 and thanks everyone for such warm wish. I haven't seen any charge pending in my CC (TD). However, I called TD today and asked them for a smooth transaction if/when CIC charges. Now I can only pray that my application deems 'complete' to CIC.

Here is a summary update as of 12:00 PM, Jan 29, 2015 (Eastern Time):
* Considering all multiple applications sent from single sponsor, 137 (133 accepted + 4 rejected) out of total 210 applications in the spreadsheet got past the initial stage. That's 63.34% success.
* 91.8% of Jan 2 applicants got their CC charged till now (as reported).
* 26% of Jan 5 applicants got their CC charged till now (as reported).
* As per CC charge record by forum members; we represent at least 2.6% of the total 2015 PGP applicants. It can even pass 3% which is good for the late applicants.

If you notice the # of CC charged on Thursdays; CIC kind of slows down. So, those Jan 5 applicants (including me) who are eagerly waiting to see their CC being charged today/tomorrow; may have to wait till next Monday. Just my observation!

Don't lose hope yet. I thought I was out of luck just a week ago. Then my credit card alert sent me a message yesterday telling me I was charged.
It seems like we over-estimated the reality number at the beginning. If your app was delivered on Jan 6th, you might still have a chance. Too bad you can't track it though.
