Hey Guys, I need your help.
I got married last year. - 2013
I want to sponser my mom n dad.That would be a family of four now
And I do meet the income criteria for a family of four for 2013.
However I meet the income criteria for a family of 3 for the year 2011. 2012.
Before filling the application I want to make sure that I have to show for a family of 3 for 2011, 2012 And a family of 4 for year 2013..

Tricky situation. Make sure your wife also works. At the moment, you will have to put family size as 4 for all three years. If you kid is born later this year.
Then family size will increase to 5. Best of luck

Does anyone know from past experience for those that met the 5000 cap in 2014, how long did the process take, or at what stage of the application most ppl are at?
Just to set expectations on how long it would take for the 2015 PGP applications from beginning till end approx.

As was mentioned, you need to meet family size of 4 going back to 2011. So that would be:
2013 - $56,280
2012 - $54,685
2011 - $53,699
Since you are now married, if your wife is co-sponsor you can add her income to your income, to see if that will meet the 2011 and 2012 LICO amounts for family size of 4.
If the family income still doesn't qualify, then if you meet LICO for 2013, 2014 and 2015, you can possibly apply to sponsor your parents in January 2017 assuming rules stay the same. If you have a child before you apply, then child would need to be added to family size (so would be 5) going back 3 years.

Its really amazing to see people over thinking about their statuses (Unless you are really in a worst situation and need it badly). I know everyone loves to see their loved one's soon, but also need to understand the complex and time taking process of immigration. Finding the probability, counting times and what not. Good to have connected for knowing things, but surely taking it to brain will cause brain drain.
So, just chill. Prepare for good/bad news. Its simple. There are worst things going on in the world and feel blessed that we are at least in better situations. Its again up to you guys, but its just my friendly advise.
