I failed to link my mom's app to her account as well. I tried both 1 and 2 as family size, but no luck.741953 said:I've been trying for days but no success...
I'm sponsoring my mom only (she's widowed, i'm only child) so family size should be either 1 or 2.
Since all info are just facts copying from document...I'm guessing the problem is "the place intend to live in Canada"?? But I've tried all combination I can think of, basically just two, either Richmond Hill or Toronto.
Anyway, maybe our file is not in the system just yet. Our sponsorship got approved and was forwarded to Ottawa in late May, but ECAS still shows "Application Received".
thanks MissFrowz, unfortunately they need some information from their current physician (cardiologist) regarding medical event that my FIL had few years ago so this is only attainable from the doctor back home. Also they are currently in USA and paying for a medical there would probably cost a small fortune.MissFrowz said:They can do their medical exam anywhere in the world, so it's fine if they do it in Canada or the US. For SA police clearance, try contacting doc assist: http://www.docassist.co.za/police-clearances/

We applied PCC in local embassy. It takes little bit more time than home country but you still get them before 60 days.
You can take them to any accredited Medical doctor near your location. For us, they are charging 225 CAD per person.
You dont need to wait util they reach their home country. Hope this helps.
You can always explain the situation and ask for deadline extension by emailing the CIC office handling your file. That's what I did and received very quick confirmation and deadline extension.Leolaz27 said:thanks MissFrowz, unfortunately they need some information from their current physician (cardiologist) regarding medical event that my FIL had few years ago so this is only attainable from the doctor back home. I have asked docassist for a quote, seems very high price for something that anyone can do themselves and in quicker time.I guess its price you pay for convenience.
Thanks for the info though.
I was hoping someone would respond with information regarding what CIC does with the application if deadline is not met.
That is very helpful. Thank you Sylvia27sylvia27 said:You can always explain the situation and ask for deadline extension by emailing the CIC office handling your file. That's what I did and received very quick confirmation and deadline extension.

My mom has recently renewed her passport and passed through Pearson on July 25, 2016. No idea if this conflicts with her old PP No. Can't think of any other reason.
Thanks ABD12345, it worked.ABD12345 said:Rossei,
I put Application No, Last name, my dad's Passport number, and Family size seven including my parents and mine (Or whatever your family size was when you applied).
I have the exact same status.Rossei said:Thanks ABD12345, it worked.
I used total family size of 3 (I, my wife and my mom) at the time of application submission.
This is the status my mom has now...
Application/profile status; Open
Review of eligibility; Review in Progress
Did you use current passport number or the on originally used at time of submission?Rossei said:Thanks ABD12345, it worked.

Rossie, Welcome back and Thank you for updating the spreadsheet.Rossei said:2015 Timeline SS UpdateI'm trying to amalgamate all 3 timeline stage sheets into 1 sheet (same as 2014 & 2016) as moving data from one sheet to another is causing trouble. Please, have some patience!
All regional medical offices run on the same e-medical system. You do not need to do anything unless asked specifically.broham said:Rossie, Welcome back and Thank you for updating the spreadsheet.
We just received another email from Regional Medical Office in Philippines regarding my father's medical - he's not accompanying my mom, but he is required to get the medical check.
They received the file but they need more information. They didn't say what information they want in the email, so my father has to go back to the same doctor and give a copy of the email.
Please note that our files is being processed in Singapore office, but it looks like the medical results go through Regional Medical office in the Philippines.
My mom is currently in Canada and already completed her medical exam. My question is if the doctor in Canada submit the result to Ottawa, would LVO in Singapore or the Regional Medical Office in Philippines be able to get the result? Or should I go back to my doctor in Canada to resubmit her medical results to the Regional Medical Office in the Philippines?

If your parents are married both must undertake medical exam even though one of them is not immigrating. Both must also pass police clearance. If they are divorced only PA need to pass admissibility requirements.
I used the original passport info (not the current one).sylvia27 said:Did you use current passport number or the on originally used at time of submission?
