I believe AOR must be generated by system before we can access ECAS and it will be 6 mths from now based on last year experience.

I am checking it very often but still anything over there, can't believe I wish someone takes money from my account so badly hehehehe. I am just hoping they will start with the Canada Post batch this afternoon, only Adrielle has been charged from this courier so far, I think.

Your headache will dissappear very soon, it is just stress.

Ya I used Canada Post too. When did your application arrive? I believe mine arrived at their location 11:24am or later on Jan. 5th. My status showed "out for delivery" for 11:24am on Jan. 5th.

Anyone from this same batch?

Thanks. Yes I was even worried if my application is the 5001th or 5002th complete one and the cutoff time is 11am Jan 5. If thats the case I think I will go crazy. All good now.

I do believe all the Canada Post documents are together. The mine said out for delivery at 11 am and the delivery says only "AM". My guess they went to CIC only once during that day, probably for the extensive line but it is only my thought ;-) ( Just speculating).

Canada Post probably deliver only once a day because they dont have exact hour commitment like other couriers. Very likely Canada Post batch is the next following Fedex 11am batch.
And as per the email from CPC-Mississauga, all files prior to the cap annoucement are date stamped, opened and checked and everything is documented in electronic records so there will be very small room for errors.

He is in the spreadsheet; but with corrected received time & date. He has 2 applications rec'v by CIC at 8:00 AM on Jan 5; one of which was charged on Jan 28.

According to CPC-M, all apps received are date stamped and recorded in GCMS (Step 1), check for completeness (Step 2), the 5000 complete files will go to payment stage (Step 3). If the first 5000 complete applications have any file rejected for insufficient payment then some files after the cap will be considered to make full 5000 app accepted this year.

We were so terrified with the announcement and thought that Jan 2 made the cut and that's it. It wasn't that bad I guess. It was filled sooner than last year, but unlikely in the first 2 days.
