Hi I am sponsoring my Tunisian husband, I already send the application and I receive letter of approval from the federal and now the application is now transferred to the visa office in Tunisia. Can anyone know what will happen next?

Hi,

Have you tried logging into the account (eCas) to see what status it is at?

As for myself, I am sponsoring my Algerian husband, but both of our husbands' applications fall under the Paris, France office...:)
When did you receive the approval letter? (I had two steps for that as I live in Quebec; I was first approved by CIC on May 31st and then by MICC on July 5)...
The Permanent Resident Application Status' side says "Application Received", and upon clicking on it, is has "Medical Results have been received."

Hello,

Thanks for replying to my message. Im from Quebec too, I received the approval from the CIC on July 19 and they were requesting for Selection. I already send the application to the MICC last July 22 but I dont know how long it will take to get the CSQ.
Anyway, on the approval letter of the CIC they said in the letter that they send the papers on the visa office in Tunisia on July 19, but when I checked on the CIC status now it says IN PROCESS and Application for Permanent Resident status APPLICATION RECEIVED. My husband did the medical before we start the sponsorship, but it doesnt say on the status if they receive it or not.
How long is your CSQ before you get approved? Do you mine if we exchange e-mails? Thanks :)

we sent our application in november and its has been aproved and they send us feeds back saying that they have sent our folder to immigration office in paris and thay they are prossessing it and that they have recived the medical exams that he did.
am wondering what is goint to happen next?? and how long is it going to be till they tell us anything eles??
will my husband hve to go to paris to get his passport stamped

can any one help please

thank you :D

Hi,

Congrats on step 1! We went through Paris too; check out our timeline. We were one of the very lucky ones to get the visa the same day as the interview. If you had red flags, next step will most likely be an interview. Otherwise, passport request. No, your husband would go to Tunisia to have it put in. Paris wait-time should be 9-months maximum. Feel free to ask any more questions...:0
