What is the right list imm form to be fill up by sponsoring my sister, I have read the checklist I’m. Not pretty sure with other forms.

In one of your older posts, you asked about having a relative sponsor you to stay in Canada; depending on the relationship and immigration status of this relative now, you may or may not be able to sponsor your sister under the "Other Relative" stream.

Generally speaking, you can't sponsor your sister; but there are exceptions and those exceptions depend on your personal situation, your marital status as well as your sister's personal situation.

Depending on your situation, you can use 2 streams: Other relatives( Lonely canadian) or Orphans kids (minors)

If you explain or describe a little bit your situation ; so that we can help and guide more. Are you single or not? Your parents alive or not? Your sister's age (+/-18) and her marital status?


Don't share your personal info; just make a quick summary with the generals.

I leave in Canada for more than 2 yrs I got my PR confirmation last year 2021 through pilot program
My sister and I are both single and I have no immediate relative in Canada.
Our parent passed away.

im thinking maybe I can sponsor her
I read The requirements that I should
=learn like 26+k annually ,?
=I don’t have family members in the house
=Both parent passed away
=I didn’t take any assistance from the government

don’t rely on that, to be honest when I mention to my cousin here in Canada ,she never contact me
That is why I make in my own to be PR in Canada and Gods blessing I was approved through Agri Pilot ,

I always thank who create this canadavisa really helpful like me seeking on answer to all my questions

Which province are you living in? If the Rest Of Canada (ROC) 3 years and Quebec 12 months for financials requirements.

What's your sister's age? if +-18... Other relatives stream would be fine if you meet financial requirements.

NB: You need your parents death certificate, proof that she is your sister by blood.

Im leaving in Ontario since I came in Canada and
My sister she’s 32 yrs old and single,
I have all my parents death certificate.
I’m planning to apply by my self .
I got confused with some of imm information

You will need proof that your grandparents have passed too.
