Guys I have a question. What is the best way to send passport for stamping to Manila Office? Can we send original passport through Courier? Even though my case is handled by London office, I am living in Seoul. So I will request them to allow me to get my visa stamped from Manila office as it will be easier for us.
Are you Korean? If so, you won't need to send your passport.

No I am not Korean. I am from Pakistan and currently working and living in Korea. As I am not from Visa exempt Country, I will have to send my passport for visa Stamping.

You can Use UPS or DHL or FedEx courier Service and yes you have to send original Passport if they ask original.
And may be london visa office will not change there visa office form london to Manila, if you are not living in Korea more then one year.
I applied through Manila but first i have to stay in korea for one year then i applied my case from here.

Okay. I agree with the previous poster. Use a courier service like DHL or UPS, etc. That way it's less likely to get lost and you get proof of delivery

Argh, got my package rejected on account of missing one document. So frustrating....Thankfully it's an easy one to fill out.

Does anyone know if I have to pay the fees again?

I am a bit confused about who has to fill out IMM 5669E besides the primary applicant. I am sponsoring my wife and we have no dependents.

In the checklist on IMM 3907e (Country Specific Instructions) Immigration Form #3. It says "You and each of your family members 18 years of age or older must complete their own copy" of IMM 5669.

In Guide 3999, the instructions for IMM 5669 say that it must be filled out by

"You, as the principal applicant,
Your spouse or common-law partner (whether accompanying you to Canada or not), and
Your dependent children aged 18 or over (whether accompanying you to Canada or not)."

So does this mean her parents and sister need to fill out IMM 5669 as well (and give info about their parents etc etc??). Also, I am the sponsor but also the spouse. So does this need I need to fill out IMM 5669 too?

edit. I guess I have this exact same question about IMM 5406 as well.

Help is greatly appreciated :)

No you don't have to pay the fees again. Attach the same receipt. Download the latest forms again. Few have been updated in April 2015.

If you have no children or dependents, only you and your wife need to complete those forms.

Thank you.

Thanks @bartjones for your prompt reply.

Can someone please recommend a specific notary/translator office around the Jongno area in Seoul?

We have contacted 4 translators near the UK and Canadian embassies and none of them are also notaries.

Sorry if this has already been answered, but can't seem to find it in this huge thread!

My fiance (Korean) and I are getting married this August and planning to apply Inland for his permanent residency. Our marriage certificate will be issued in Canada. On CIC's site, it indicates Korean specific documents required, including the Marriage Relations Certificate.

Do we need both the Canadian marriage certificate and the Marriage Relations Certificate?

If so, how do we get the Korean Marriage Relations Certificate when married in Canada?

Any info on the process is appreciated! Thanks!

I married my Korean wife in Canada and we only ever sent in a Canadian marriage certificate. That is all that is required to prove marriage. If you're married in Korea, then I do not know what is required.

I would include both your Canadian marriage certificate as well as the Korean Marriage Relation Certificate. It's a simple enough document to get and better to include it than have them request it later and delay your application. In addition, I suspect they also request this document to insure you were not married in Korea at the time you were married in Canada. Either way, it's a required document so you'd better include it.

I would also agree with bartjones about the Marriage Relations Certificate
As for obtaining one while in Canada I would get the Korean Embassy involved.
