How much longer it will takes ?
Are they going to call us for interview ?
My husband lives with me in canada are they still going to call him for interview or they may just ask him to send his passport ?

I'm not sure if that visa office sends out an AOR. If they don't it is normal not to hear anything.

I think because you are married and have children together they are less likely to call your husband for an interview but you never know. If they want an interview he will have to go to Morocco but if they waive the interview he will just need to mail his passport.

Rabat does not send AORs, but if the file is transferred I am sure it is there and is in queue. The timeline is 8 months from when the file gets there, but in some cases they complete it within 5-6 months.

If you and your husband are both moroccan there is a greater chance your husband will not be called for an interview (50/50).

If you are not moroccan, have different background/culture/religion chances are he may have an interview. I do not know if they will take you having kids together as consideration to waive interview. In Rabat majority of applicants have interviews

I have never heard of Rabat allowing for passports to be sent in, based on my experience and the experience of others in this forum, and some moroccan friends here in Canada, what happens is when visa is ready to be issued the Canadian Consulate gives an appointment for a specific date/time to which one has to present themselves with the passport for visa issuance/receipt of COPR in person. I am not sure if based on the fact your husband is already in Canada they would be willing to do this by mail/courier.

Thank you so much for your fast reply and your advice I'm so happy to hear about your situation went very smooth
I'm moroccan and my husband is Moroccan as well, I really hope they will just ask him for his passport otherwise just waisting time and money, plus am about to give birth to our second child . Thank you

Inchallah in your case as both of you are moroccan the interview will not be necessary. And also possibly because they see your husband is in Canada they will allow you to just courier the passport. Also since he is here it may be possible he doesnt need the visa in passport but only may need just the COPR document, with which he can go to closes Canadian border and "flagpole" (but I am not sure in this procedure)

For timing of when they will contact your husband, it won't be much longer, maybe 1 or 2 months more to wait.

Alaf mabrouk :) It looks like you may have the baby in Ramadan, that is so wonderful. Me and my husband are expecting too, its our first baby and due in 5 months.

If you have any other questions or need anything let me know.

Anytime :)
We are in Calgary, Alberta.
His file was transferred from Mississauga to Rabat on December 4, 2013 and his interview was on March 25, 2014 (they only gave him 5 days notice of the interview date by calling him in his mobile).
