Hi everyone sorry haven't been around been too busy with work and when not working trying to spend as much time as possible with my husband, really hating this internet marriage, he keeps telling me to be patient and all will be fine. But it has already been 10 long months since we have been together and he is even starting to ask me if I could just come for a visit but I can't afford it. I am happy to see so many have recieved their calls for interviews I hope my husband gets his soon. Congrates too all that have gotten your visas I hope you all the happiness in the world, and hope your loved ones a safe and speedy trip home to their loved ones, I hope they all like canada. Well take care and when I have something to tell you I will be back I pop in every now and then to check on how everyone is doing.

Hey y'all,
Thought I'd share some of our progress. I received the CAIPS notes today. First thing - they were en francais - which was a challenge.
In some ways they are extremely detailed ie. they note that Karim asked for his interview in English and his reason why.
In other ways they are extremely vague. ie. no telling thoughts on the interview, no notes of concern.
However, they did give us one little tidbit....
They feel our marriage is genuine! Yay for us!
Aside from that gem, the CAIPS notes were pretty useless. The notes don't reveal WHY he was flagged for security check (though I'm sure it was the amount we travelled) or WHY it's taking so long. Boo.
It's not wonderful, but it is something.

Good news for you. I ordered my CAIPS notes too, but still haven't received them yet. When did you order them? Just so I have some idea how long it will take. I sent them off nearly two weeks ago, but the cheque still hasn't been cashed.
We are in our 10th week, with no word. Same old, same old.

That's weird. Wait - did you request the full file? I just did the fast one and it took 6 weeks. If they have to collect the whole file, it will take a lot longer. However - it may very well say things mine didn't.

Haven't anything to report. Still waiting for something, a response to the email we sent 5 weeks ago, waiting for the CAIPS notes (not coming till August 4th) and eternally we are waiting for a call from Immigration.
Hope everyone else is doing fine. And hopefully there will be some good news here. There hasn't been any good news for weeks now. 3 weeks actually.
I just hope that there is something soon.

Hi avryone, Just looking to see how all of you are doing, I talked to Raven just yesterday but wondering how Mariana and Becca process is going ?
I have a question what is CAIPS notes? I seen it many times in your conversations but what is it exacly?
Also I like to say a big hello to Penny if ever you come to peek at the forum,
For Boubaker and I all is good , Boubaker's job has been ofered a full time permanent possition he acepted it and we are so happy he found a job so quickly as its hard here for jobs.
Other then that just enjoying life together working on the garden latly , swiming at the beach and spending time with our little kitten we just got. called him (Izem means tiger in berber)

CAIPS notes are the computerized notes that the immigration makes on each file. They contain all the applicantion information -as well as notes on their assesment of the file. For example in ours the interviewer noted that he/she felt that my husband karim was invested in the relationship and that the relationship appears to be genuine. Not too much other helpful stuff - but its still nice to have.

Weird feeling to say but we got a smooth process Boubaker got his call for visa about 3 weeks after his interview.
we are among the lucky ones that is so rare I see, Im so saden to see all the hard time all of you are going trew.
My husband joined me in canada 3 months ago. alhamdoulilah
i will tell you avryday I look at my husband and think wow im lucky and I feel sadnes for the rest of my friends I care for that are still waiting , its like a bitter sweet feeling,
I was so scared for my husband to find a job here as i live in a small town here in New-Brunswick.
I visit this forum alot still almost avry day just hoping to see any good news.
I pray it will be soon inshaAllah

We are waiting now for the file to be returned from Rabat in order to get the ADR date set. I suspect we will receive it the end of August and the ADR date will be set in Dec/Jan. Still a while. I'll be visiting Youssef mid October and soooooooooooooo looking forward to it.
It was our anniversary on Sunday and we miss each other terribly.
So good to know that Boubaker has settled in well. All the very best to the two of you. Should you ever come to Ontario do contact me.

Hi Isabel,
Karim and I have been in process for 13 months from the AOR date. We're celebrating our 4th anniversary next week but we haven't lived together in 1.5 years now. It's sad sad times.
