I have been enquiring on prices to fly (to and from Montreal / Marrakech), and it appears flying to Casablanca is cheaper..
what is cheapest rates to fly there from here in Montreal and with whom is it best to travel if you know anything of this??

hi avryone well I called them to find out the status on my sponcering aplications
sad for me and Boras that they are late
and they are curently only on the 13 of july aplications
they told me to call in about 2 weeks or 3 to check again

Im alittle anoyed with the waiting time but as avryone say we just have to be patiente
Boubaker my husband and I will just have to wait :-(

oh no Isabelle, je suis si desole, how I wish I could hug you right now, such news is so rough..I am here with you in heart and prayers Allah helps this process speed up..Adil and I are as one although apart and yes the days are so hard at times, I barely sleep now but nap when I can, I have to do what I can too on my end to make my passport speed up to travel..this is only the beginning lol! wow, I will look at today and nothing more!

Isabelle - sorry to hear that the processing is backed up. I haven't sent the papers yet, still waiting for my husband to finish. But I guess that means we will all be waiting a little bit longer.

Tracy, Nooda and all others on the West Coast: I am from Vancouver and I have been flying via British Airways to Marrakech. However, I was wondering was there any other airlines that have worked for you? Also, when my husband comes here, if I choose not to use British Airways, and try Lufthansa via Casa, does he need a transit visa?

All help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Becca;

There are three ways to fly to Vancouver: British Airways, Lufthansa (no, he will not need a transit visa - my husband arrived this way) or Royal Air Maroc (direct to Montreal and then buy a separate ticket to Vancouver).

I have flown many times to London via Air Canada (with airmiles) and then bought a separate ticket to Marrakech vis RAM.

Welcome Adil and Marilyn - I wish for you a speedy application (ours was) and all the best in the future. Long distance relationships test patience more than anything else - luckily the visa office in Rabat seems to process most applications quickly (compared to the time frame they officially give). Many of us are successfully reunited so there is hope for everyone.

I am so grateful to read information here, I have to do so much right now, plus I am working, preparing to leave, gather all the money needed and also rushing around for my passport, at least today I got the money for it so I can go there in person to speed up process, the only thing is now if my doctor is in so I can get her to sign my photo for the passport, and who to have for 2nd witness, probably my pharmacist who knows me a longtime too..

I live in Montreal so which air flight is best to book with to travel to Morocco..FROM MONTREAL where I live actually??
and which place is best to land for a decent price??I can probably only stay a month, but if I could apply for work there in Marrakech ..wow wonder if i can..winks

I just came back from Morocco last month. We did the parcours de marriage then, and it is definitely a parcours. There's already a lot of info in this forum about the papers thanks to everyone who helped us get ready. I flew out of Toronto, so I don't know about flying from Montreal, I assume Royal Air Maroc is the best since they operate from there. I booked on expedia.ca cost $1300 in July, I had a stop over in Paris on the way back it was a stop over in Amsterdam. You will love Morocco.

I feel like it is an eternity to go there but prays one day at a time for it..winks lol
I am so happy for you to have had this time there and the marriage..it is so encouraging to read others stories, how I miss Adil and we both feel for all who live in the same circumstances.

Today I have my passport photo done and so nice..this upcoming week Insha allah the doctor signs for me on it and direct to the passport office I go from there!
They warned me it might take a minimum of 2 weeks to have it!
