Bare with me coz i am new in this site, I have a lot of concern regardng sponsoring my husband who is in Riyadh right now. I have a queston: Is it better to sponsor him while he is in Riyadh or He needs to go back to Philippines?

If you're doing it outland, I don't think your husband's residence matters. What matters is where you, the sponsor, are.mahbabe1228 said:

Alright, then you can be anywhere in the world during the process, if you're doing it outland. If you plan to be outside of Canada during the process, you need to provide the CIC with detailed proofs/plans and supporting documentations, which demonstrate that you will resettle in Canada once your husband is granted PR.mahbabe1228 said:

Another question, if the canadian embassy ask for his passport do they give enough time ? coz what he have now is his IQAMA.

You can follow other Manila applicants on this site and get a feel for when his 'passport request' is to be expected. However the letter that the CIC sends will probably specify 45 days from the date of the letter to submit all remaining docs.
