Forum: when filling out the Sponsor Questionnaire-IMM 5540 page 2 of 4 question #11 Are you currently living in Canada? My Answer: No. When do you plan to return to Canada to resume residency D/M/Y? What are you supposed to put if you are applying for Outland Sponsorship and the date you are planning to return is when your spouse gets approval for PR so that you will be returning together?
thanks.

Write on there that you plan to move as soon as he gets his PR.

However, I thought you were already in Canada with your baby, sorry if I am confusing you with somebody else but if that is the case, did you not already take up residency in Canada to prepare for your husbands arrival? Even though you might go and visit him while he is waiting?

Thanks Leon,
I am in Canada with my baby but we plan on returning to Thailand before the end of /08 to reunite with my husband. I will then commence employment in Thailand and eventually when financially feasible apply for Outland Sponsorship of my husband. So where on the form do I write we plan on returning when he gets PR?
Did you see my other posting re. Dates of letters? No one responded.
thanks

khun thaihubbie,
On the top of the form IMM 5540 it says if there's not enough space then write the details on an additional sheet with your name, form title/number, and the number of question you are answering. I also wrote the page number and attached behind the form at that specific page (i.e. page 1A of 2) so things would not get mixed up (hopefully!).

Type out your intentions to re-establish back in Canada once your spouse receives his PRV. The date would be, as Leon suggested, once your husband receives his visa. This is also the letter where you would include job prospects and where you would live (include those letters of support/offers).

Hope this helps!
