My husband is in law school for the next 3 years. I'm still overseas, and when I get to Canada I will, ideally, be employed. Our bank account can support us for a while. Does anyone foresee any problems with this? Will our application be rejected if my husband is not earning any money? Thank you.

Nope - this isn't a reason for rejection.

As long as your husband isn't on welfare/social assistance and isn't bankrupt - he can qualify to sponsor you from a financial standpoint.

Hi,, I'm almost 4 months as landed immigrant here in Canada, I have a job as casual status and I want to sponsor my wife and kids back home. I'm afraid if i will be rejected because of my financial status is not sufficient of the said income requirements, should I proceed for my application or do I have to wait for 12 months to become eligible of the required income requirements,, what will I put in the evaluation form since I have only 3 months record of my work.Thank you I hope I could get response from you.
