If OP doesn’t meet RO and applies then would not that trigger a review of that person’s PR eligibility.

And THAT'S the unknown!

I've seen/been part of several discussions about whether or not a PR needs to be in compliance to be eligible to sponsor. So far, nobody has been able to provide any solid evidence that it would in fact trigger a review at all.

Please guide me.

Currently I live in Canada , I would like to sponsor my 9 months child, who born outside Canada ( in India ) . My wife and I are permanent residents . My wife went to India to delivery our baby and has been living in India.
Since my wife Is a permanent resident and she will be back to Canada once the child's Visa gets approved.

Am bit confused about box No.6 Declaration from Non-accompanying parent/ guardian for minors immigrating to Canada ( IMM5604 ).
Should I mark box number 6 As Not applicable ?

Form IMM1344- Application to sponsor , sponsorship agreement and undertaking
is it mandatory to include co- signer ( my wife's ) personal details ?( I sponsored my wife in 2021 and she became permanent resident on 20 January 2022 )

Yes, not applicable. May be useful to provide a short letter that your spouse, a PR, will return to Canada with the child.

Your wife doesn't need to co-sign.
