Sponsering my wife from india

Hello

I am canadian citizen and im filling out the form IMM 1344 on my wifes behalf.
In the form it says "name of person your are sponsoring (Principal Applicant)", so my question is if she is filling out the form how can she sponsor herself.
It is also asking "relationship to principal applicant" but how does she relate to herself so I am confused about this.
If I (sponsor) am filling out the form it makes sense but it says both sponsor and the person being sponsor needs to fill out these forms and sign

These forms don't make sense if my wife is filling it out because of the questions. Does it have to be filled out separately or together

Please read the CIC complete guide properly before/while you are working on your application. All the basic questions are answered there. Thats what the guide is for after all. Sponsoring your spouse to join you in Canada and spend your lives together is a very big and important deal, so reading the CIC guide and being familiar with the forms is the least you should be doing before venturing into this long and arduous process.

IMM 1344 is to be filled only by the Sponsor (although the PA has to sign it as well) and IMM 5532 is to be filled by both Sponsor and PA.
