I'm going to be sponsering my husband. What is the fileing order numbers to send it off to make it look organized and what is needed. My husband has been legally adopted they ask for on imm008 for his father's name his real father is on his birth certificate but goes by his adopted last name. is the adoption document required? And for the best supporting documents for our relationship

To avoid any confusion, you can add a letter of explanation explaining the situation. And yes, if possible, include the adoption notice if you have it as well as info on the birth father and rhe adopted father. Personally I would put the details of his legal father on the form and info about the birth father on the letter of explanation. (I would do this because they will see the same name on the form as your husband.)

There is no set order or way to organise. I think most find it best and easiest to organise roughly in the order that the Checklist provides documents. You can group things however you wish, I used some clear plastic file folders (the instructions seem to say you shouldn't do this but our applicaiton was enormous and I couldn't see not organising somehow.) Others seem to have used coloured/numbered paper file tabs.

I also included a cover sheet (with the checklist) detailing exactly what documents and additional info was being included. But I did this partly to assist in my own organisation (i.e. to allow me to check repeatedly I had everything).

It's my guess that it doesn't matter so much how you organise but rather that you do organise in some way that will be clear to others. Both to help them go through your package, and also to help you submit.

Only my own experience.

Sorry, I don't know anything about the work permit issue or process as did not apply inland.

You would organize the file as per the checklist, with the checklist on top. As per the website it states,
The order of documents should be as follows:
  • checklist;
  • open work permit application (and supporting documents), if applicable;
  • any barcode pages;
  • supporting documents, in the order they’re listed on the checklist.
