Spelling error in brother's birth certificate - Proof of relationship

Dear Seniors,

I have to provide mine and my brother's birth certificate to prove our relationship as he is a permanent resident of canada. Our correct last name is "Kumthekar" however in my brother's birth certificate our last name has been spelled as "Kumathekar". I was wondering if this minor spelling error is serious? I am providing his passport pages having our parents name and last name spelled correctly. Should I write any LOE? Please advise what should i do?
