Parent's name

My brother is a PR holder in Canada. I am claiming points from him.
My query -
For proof of sibling, I am providing my brother's and my birth certificate. But there is a spelling error in our father's name. My father's name in in my birth certificate is as per the name in his passport so clear from my side. But since my brother's birth certificate has a different spelling (only 1 letter) will there be any problem? How do I prove it?
Kindly suggest.

You can attach a "Same person" affidavit with your application then there won't be any problem.

You can visit the person who makes affidavits, they have the format. It is a simple affidavit which states that the X and Y are the names of same person. and that person signs it.

It's good to get the affidavit just in case of course but know that it would be enough to show the mothers name is the same in both certificates as well.
