Specifying Embassy/Region on outland application

The instructions say to specify which consulate/embassy we are to use, but where exactly do you specify it? Separate page, write on the application, ?????

If you are refering about IMM0008, use the new version.
It was uptaded twice. November/14 and february/15.

I've got the latest version of IMM008, but I still don't see a specific location on the form the specify where to process the application. Is it based on the country of residence?

Yes, it is.
The old version of IMM0008 ask for the applicant to choose the visa office abroad. They took off this option.

CIC no longer allows the applicant to request a specific visa office; they determine where it is processed.
