Specific Question: App in process, Husband with PGWP

Hi All,

Just wanted to be prepared and thought to ask your thoughts on the following:
We are travelling to Peru for a week to attend a wedding. Our app is currently in process and I suspect we'll get SA before we are back. My husband has a visa exempt passport, as well as a Post Graduate work permit. When we arrive, should we mention the PR app in progress, or will that open a can of worms? of course if they ask we wont hide anything, but just wondering how to steer the conversation.

When we came back form the honeymoon, they didn't ask a single question.. but I'm paranoid! Thank you

He holds PGWP which would not be problem for re-enter Canada.(not sure when his PGWP would be expired though)

I wound not tell CBSA unless they ask him.

If CBSA would ask tell them he applied for PR inland/outland and show a proof of that( receipt or SA letter if you have)

don't think you and he would have any problem to come home.

Thank you! It's expiring next July so we still have quite a bit of time. I'll bring the email confirmation and receipt just in case.
