When did you apply? Is background check in progress? Has eligibility review started?
I have been waiting since September (Non-SDS), no updates..
Does anyone know which applications are being reviewer right now? Have they started September applkcations?

Guys, my student permit is rejected today.
1. The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.
2. limited employment possibilities in my country of residence.
I plan to get notes from IRCC but obviously, I cannot catch up with 2023 winter intake. My background is complicated since I just got a second citizenship and I am using it to apply for the student permit. Any suggestion from your side? I'm glad to hear from you.

34 years old, holding master degree in IT from China. Had owned business in south east Asia (outside of China) for three years and stopped at the beginning of 2022. Have sufficient financial proof. Got Turkish citizenship through investment in 2021 and currently am residing in Turkey. No jobs here or business opportunities cause I don’t speak Turkish for now, choices are limited. That’s why I want to have a MBA degree in Canada and start over.
I got MBA offer from ON. with unconditional offer. I don’t have family ties here in Turkey but I mentioned in my statement after graduation from Canada I’ll be back to south east Asia/Turkey to conduct business again.
What school and is it a public university? To get a permit, you must show that there are opportunities in Turkey or China. Coming to Canada to ”start over” is not the point of a study permit. You must show that you are building on your education and have career opportunities.
