SP Extension updates

I wanted to start a thread for those who are waiting on their SP extensions. Some folks who applied in May and late April have been approved so the CIC processing timeline is perhaps not up to date since it says that they are working on April 10th applications. Anyway, if any of you get updates, please post here and let us know when you applied and got the approval. I applied on June 8th.

And also how much fund required except tuition fee payment...

I logged in today and saw "Your action is required" but when I clicked on my application it shows nothing and now the Your action is required line is gone as well.

I applied may 15. Got a mail this afternoon that .....there Hope been no updates to your application since you last checked your MyCIC account. Thank you for your patience.

It can be annoying. I got this same mail exactly June 14.

Hope I get a response soon.

I got an this morning email stating that my application has been updated. I logged into CIC and the Status column also showed updated. Clicked in...nothing. The updated line is now replaced with Submitted as well....Damn that was unnerving.

Hey everyone, I'm also waiting for my study permit and co-op work permit extensions. I applied May 27. I had one of the mysterious emails last week saying that my application had been updated, only to find nothing when I logged in... Hoping it's a good sign and that maybe something is starting to happen behind the scenes!

I think those who got the update message are close to getting the approval. Same thing happened to me when I last applied for an extension. I got a message saying there is an update and a few days later, I got the approval. Not 100% sure but based on other responses, this seems to be the case.

Thanks for starting this forum. I applied on June 8th for changing status from worker to student. I think I will be in the same category as you. Please update your status once you get new information from CIC.

Applied today (study permit and OWP), July 14th... Will post when I here something. This year its taking longer than ever it seems... 3 years ago it took us 1 month or even less.

That's 83 days. You should call CIC regarding the process of your application as it is already 83 days.

83 days was as of July 3rd so they could slow down...
