Hi josh, Did they give you email that your application approved? Today i got email that my application has been updated but there is no change or message after login. It's second time I got this email after submission.

I also got an email this morning saying there were no updates... Hoping that an approval letter is on its way...

Just checked the website, and I saw that they updated the status there. Analyzing the applications submitted on the 12th April, 88 days.
I've applied 28th May for the fall intake. I'm losing hope, I'm sure that I'll have to defer my start date to January if they continue in this sluggish pace. :-[

Hey, I was told by my international adviser that you are under implied status until they approve your new study permit extension so I think you should be fine. Just talk to your international office and I am sure they can get you cleared for registration etc.

Grats Josh. I like how the fact you get it before Anna did who applied 3 weeks before you :P

a email arrived on 14th saying "Your application(S123456789) has been updated‏" which i saw yesterday (15th) and immediately checked my cic account yet nothing changed.

today (16th) another email came saying "There have been no updates to your application (S123456789) since you last checked your MyCIC account."

what is going on?

anyway i applied in middle of June so i guess the result wouldn't come out so early, usaually it takes more than two months, right?

I know that I'm under implied status. The thing is, what happens if I start studying and my study permit gets rejected afterwards?
Thanks for the help. :)

Then you have to apply for restoration of status within the 90 days grace period.

No updates unfortunately. Someone who applied in the middle of May did get an approval so hopefully they are making their way through applications.

Hopefully! Also it is a little bit odd that TRV processing is down to 11 days yet SP Extension times don't seem to come below the 70/80 day mark.
