What is spouse’s status in Canada? Student - program? PGWP - job?I also received a refusal with the same 5 points as you did. Note that I applied from the UAE, where I have been working for the past 2 years, and I have Indian nationality. I am planning to reapply from India now. However, after seeing your refusal, I am worried whether it will work or not.

Should have applied at same time.My wife is currently on a Study Visa (MBA - 2-year course, started in September 2024). . I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 200(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/section-200.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• You do not have significant family ties outside Canada.
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.
• Your current employment situation does not show that you are financially established in your country of residence.
• Your immigration status outside your country of nationality or habitual residence.
• I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds, including income or assets, to carry out your stated purpose in coming to Canada or to maintain yourself while in Canada and to effect your departure.
