Anyone here whose swop has been approved and can guide about the time line.

My husband is a full time student at Georgian collage and went there three months back. At that time I applied my visa with him but it got rejected on the basis of no family ties. This time i have added a better explanation about our family ties and have also added pictures with our family . I am now applying for sowp, is my case strong enough?

No one can tell you your chances. Family ties are your spouse and children so not sure why you need pictures.

We don't have kids, it is just us so i am trying to prove a strong relationship with our parents because they really do need care. My husband's mother is a single parent and both my parents are ill.

So if your parents and they need care and are ill then how can you come to Canada on SOWP? So your husband has siblings under 22? What does his mother being single have to do with family ties if he is in Canada? Family ties if you are married are any children and your spouse. You can try but showing your parents need care, shows that you really can’t come to Canada.

Just asking what IRCC will ask.

We have younger siblings who will be taking care of them while we aren't here. Till now me and my husband had divided months to live with each of them. We have also gathered funds so they can spend this time while we are away peacefully. All this is mentioned in my sop.

Your husband has the permit so doesn’t need to show his ties. It is you who has to show ties. His study permit may have been approved because you were not coming to Canada with him. You are his tie to return. So you showing your ties to your parents (who have care from siblings) may not be considered.

What are you applying for? A 6 month leave from your job is really long and IRCC may think that your employer is just writing a letter to give you a tie.
