hi ppl
my spouse is in canada on workpermit and applied my application through an attorney... its been more than 4months and yet no decision... i wanna find if anyones facing the same problem or got visa. my timeline is

applied : july 29 2016
medicals requested : aug 30 2016
medicals submitted : sep 6 2016
requested bank statement : sep 17 2016 (even though statement already submitted with my application)
bank statement submitted : sep 24 2016

from then no update yet.... processing time crossed long back...contacted cic but no update other than showing still processing

try to contact your mp.. this is best option

Hi,
You cannot get the case re-opened, however you can give a try. Only one in a lakh is lucky enough to reopen and get status change. Sent an email to the visa office where your application was processed, if it is Bangalore visa office then mail them at BAGLR-IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca.
Be polite and professional in the email, thats very important.

Before you send an email to them, please check yourself that you had included below documents in the application:
1. Marriage certificate from Indian government.
2. Bank statement showing full tuition fees of spouse and extra 5000 CAD equivalent.
3. Strong tie in India like property document in your name.

My suggestions when application is rejected:
1. Apply for AITP notes.
2. Take next step based on the AITP reasons.

yes applied on 13 July
Passport request 24 September by mistake
Additional documents request 10 October
Medical request 24 November
No update after that
