How can they do this?
And their answer seems to be impossible as there are people in the forum who applied in Nov and got visa recently on March 7 and around.

Anyone in the forum who has recieved the approval on Marc 7?Would like to know the application date to understand the rough timelines

I have also submitted my Medical Information sheet as a CSE for my online application.Yesterday,I got a reply as below.

Dear client,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We are pleased to confirm the reception of your document. We have forwarded it to the responsible office for their consideration.

If further information is needed during the processing of your application, the responsible office may contact you.


Is this a generic mail or the application has been considered.

I too had applied couple of documents through CSE, and received similar email after 2 weeks. (this was in mid-Feb) Didn't feel it was generic. They mentioned they had received the documents for my file that was located in New Delhi visa office. The mail was also signed by an actual person, not simply 'cic'.
Moreover, if I call the help centre to check status for my application, the recorded msg now mentions receipt of documents.
My guess/hope is, when they finally open the application, they will consider these new documents too.

First of all, sorry its Dec. not Nov. and,
Following user got the SOWP Approved.

Hi Karthik,

I applied online on Dec 13 with medical upfronts from India and i got passport request on Feb 27 and today MARCH 1 i just submitted passport at bangalore VAC office. Hope this will give you some idea.

I got work permit approved and visa stamped and got passport back on 7 march itself

My interview was done.
Officer asked me bunch of questions.
Took my passport and she said you can collect your passport at 3pm
What does that mean.
Do they took it for stamping or just for the verification.
Please lemme know expert's.
