I applied to AINP January 2014 - No nomination
I applied to CEC September 2014 - No AOR

Now I wish to extend my work permit to the same expiration date as my wife's, her PGWP exipres 1.5 years after mine. I don't need LMIA to extend mine, is it correct?

Thanks

If your wife has skilled employment, then you can probably get a spousal open work permit for the same duration as her PGWP.

You don't say when your current work permit expires, so it's hard to advise about the bridging open work permit. If your current permit is still valid for a month or two, you could just wait for your AOR, and then apply for a bridging open work permit.

To add a few more details to my question:

My wife is working as a accounting bookkeeper so I think it's a NOC 1311 job
My PGWP expires in 2 weeks and I don't expect to get AINP nomination nor CEC-AOR soon
