Hi Buddy,
Even i applied on June 3rd 2015 without medical upfront but still i did not receive anything so just playing waiting game. If you get anything then please share with me. Its help me because i very scared due to twice rejection before.

I applied on 10th June, 2016, Chandigarh, paper based. nothing yet.

Have you tried linking the file with myCIC ?

Well,, V r in the same boat jss dt I applied a month prior to u,, Frankly telling, I have given up!! Its my husband whuz pursuing it further,, v r waiting for GCMS notes,, another 1 week dts it,, aftr dt he vl go to MP,,

Then, we also think to withdraw d application n apply for visitor visa but unfortunately it vl also b processed in Chandigarh only,, again vl have to deal with dem,, It's juss dt therez lot goin on in my mind,, n m nt able to come upto any conclusion,, We can wait only fr nw as nuthin is in our hand,, They donot even reply to any mails n is completely showing their INDIFFERENT ATTITUDE towards SOWP applicants.

U tell how r U planning to tk it to further level!!!

Well am thinking of contacting the Immigration Minister now. and do you know the process to withdraw the file? just in case we rethink of applying the visitor visa for my wife?

Keep those people who work at vfs away from their partners for 10 months with no guarantees that they'll get to see each other without compromising their future. Probably then they'll understand they need to do something about these applications. This is just ridiculous.

Hi Guys,
I have applied for SOWP on 9th June online from Hungary, still no update, i keep hearing of getting in touch with MP, can anyone explain how can i get in touch with him/her about my application, the timeline for SOWP from hungary is 6 weeks (it was 4 weeks when i applied in june) and my application is now more than 9 weeks old.

Any help would be appreciated

ask ur spouse who is in Canada to get in touch wth her are MP's office. Possibly call them and talk to them or if they dnt answer drop an email to them . Like my wife stays in Barrie, ON so the local MP for Barrie is Mr. ALex Nuttal. similarly ask ur spouse to chk whos the mp of her area she can google and find a website of either parliamentarians. Try this should be worth while.

Even though my file was refused but I got a refusal response after 8 days they contacted cic. make sure processing time has passed then only they can call cic office not otherwise.

Lemme tell u 1 thing I hv mailed thrice to immigration minister Mr. John Mccallum,, In response I only got acknowledgement mail,, Nuthin else

I don't know hw to withdraw it bt I vd recommend u nt to do so,, Wait fr their final decision

You should try calling the call centre for an update on ur file. even the automated machine can give u wats the exact udpate. my wife chked n it said application made after june will take 33 days while applications made from apr 6 to june end will take 111 days.

Mine has completed 105 days till date.
