my lawyer/ expert also filed one on 29june. Did not hear anything yet. At least that is what he says. We did it on our own on 17july and 27th we got the replu saying your request has been sent to the concerned office. And this was less than ten workimg days they got back to us in.

well wen i try it shows file in progress and within 72 hours they will email.

To me it says enter the application number that should begin with V. However, ours is a work permit application and it begins with W.

That's correct, that what i saw there. It asks with "V".

how common is it to have interviews for SOWP visas? We will be newly married but I am currently working abroad.

that happens rarely. if only they interviewed people for sowp then a lot of couples would have been united already.

I applied for my wife's SOWP (Paper Application) in Chandigarh on June 28th, 2016. No update yet, tried linking the file with myCIC but it doesn't show up in the search results yet.

Is there anyone else here who applied in June/July 2016 at Chandigarh?

I applied online for SOWP on 9th june 2016 from Hungary and it says 5 weeks processing time, but its now almost 8 weeks and i have received no update, sent a CSE and no update there too, called the dial in number and it says there are too many applications so does not pass onto the agent, it just mentions processing applications earlier than 18th june 2016. anyone else around the same time and online applicant around who might have got a response?

I have applied on 22 March in chandigarh and it is online .some of us are waiting from the January. No idea what happens with the Chandigarh vfs.but I can say chandigarh vfs processing is very poor.

hii all.. I applied SOWP on 29 June at Vfs Ahmedabad-Paper Based. I was working as a Office Admin that Time. Now I changed my Job to Food Service Supervisor. Anybody have idea how can I let CIC know about new job ?
