Even if you apply from canada online your spouse medicals. Passport submission can b done in india itself. Simply you prolong the duration by interactions betwen canada and Indian high commission for canada.

My Wife got her SOWP Approved yesterday. Our timelines are -

Applied Paper based with Medical upfront in New Delhi on 10.06.2016
Approved on 19.07.2016.

To me it says eTA status check. How can one check an sOWP status with this?

well wen i try it shows file in progress and within 72 hours they will email.

even if they do i will not be the one to receive it. It will come in cic account which is being handled by the lawyer.

not all the time they r doing it within 72 hours but u can expect something soon i think. dnt worry ur in banglore n ur a june applicant which shld still b done timely compared to others.

well thats the status i can c on the eta status check but thats not appearing on my cic login yet. if its showing for u on ur cic account already then possibly they r in process for ur application. i read b4 on forum that some people had this 72 hour thing but not in all cases they got any email in the given duration. but probably its better than being hopeless.

you should request ur consultant for screenshot of the updated status on cic account. that will give more clarity.
