Hello,

I choosed program which isn't related to my previous studies, so i posted photo of money earned from a company that is related to my choosed program as they don't provide certificates etc + wrote about my rank etc. and after that this paragraph
```
I'm not boasting Sir/Ma'am, i just want to prove that i'm genuinely interested in my choosen program, even it's not relevant to my previous studies and i'm not playing any tricks to get admission, actually i have heard people saying that VISA's usually get Rejected because Course/Program's completed in home country isn't relevant with the course/program selected in other country for studying.
```

Is it ok writing this paragraph ?

Pls help,
Thanks

Writing such paragraph is considered very very rude.

Remember few things as an applicant :
1. You have to request and not direct the VO.
2. Your SOP should not go into defensive mode. Talk more about the wide door of opportunities that will get unlocked after attending the selected program.
3. Your SOP tone has to be neutral and professional. Don't make it sound like child crying for a candy.
4. Avoid using words like 'boasting' etc.. in formal applications.

Good luck!

First and foremost thing that you need to do is to get an unconditional letter of acceptance (LOA) from college or university which clearly states minimum of the following items:
1. Your First and Last name that matches with your passport
2. DLI number, Name, Address, Phone/Tel/Fax of the institution that has offered you the LOA
3. Program Name that you been admitted to
4. Duration of the program
5. Start date of the program
6. Fees to be paid
7. Student ID#

If you have got your program changed from Mechtronics to CIS then you should have a LOA clearly mentioning CIS. Otherwise, your SP application will get messed up. CIC clearly says that it will ban student for 5 years for any kind of misrepresentation. I am sure you don't want this to happen.

Coming back to your question on change of education path. Yes, there is no link between your past diploma in mechanical and future plan to CIS. I wonder on what ground college offered you this program. Suppose if you had a BTech or BE in Mechanical and had got LOA for MEng. in Computer Sci. kind of program then you could have at least put up a SOP on the basis of Robotics.

On the other hand, suppose if you had an Employer Certificate mentioning your software role and responsibilities and the projects you executed then still you had some chance to convince VO for CIS program. If you had done some Linux Networking Security Red Hat Certification kind of thing then still you had some hope.

I am not in a position to guide you on how you can convince VO with your SOP. If it is not too late then try to apply for a program that matches your past education.

If you are confident and your inner voice says to go ahead then ignore whatever I have said and file your visa application. Good luck and hope for the best.
