You can search from the previous threads about the required documents.
They have shared so many times.
SOP or Statement of Explanation is one the same thing.
On CIC website, they call it Statement of Explanation. I would also recommend you to use the same name and not SOP.
In your Statement of Explanation, cover the following things and you are done:
Your proposed program of Study
Your previous education and employment
Your Family
Finances/Funds
Why you choose Canada?
Your Future Plans? etc...
That's it. Just sit for few minutes and write those point and you are done. Don't go for the long stories which you normally find in other SOPs. Make it simple and honest.
yup it is too long. . try to minimize it to 600 to 900 words or 1 to 1.5 pages max .. VO just need to know why are u going (it includes , short intro with a glance of your background .. why this program, why Canada , why this university, what are your future plans ? thats it ..
1. SPP Visa checklist http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/checklist-student-SPP-liste-etudes-PPE.aspx
2. For Indian students, SOP is not required, its useless.
Ammm... It is just to make your points more stronger. You can explain something here. You can write few line about your family ties and funds you have that from where you get them, etc...
So from that point of view, I think, one should include Statement of Explanation stating few lines about: Proposed Study Plan, Academic and Professional Background, Family, Funds, Why Choose Canada?, Future Plans.
