I want to ask, SOP and Cover letter for visa is a same thing or do we have to write 2 letters?

When i got my visa one year ago, i just wrote a cover letter, i think what is most important for immigration officers is that we are presenting the right documents and our education background and the relevance of the course we are doing in Canada. Even candidates with really good SOP and cover letter will not get the visa if their qualification is not considered good enough in the eyes of the immigration officer. Make sure you write an simple SOP and get all the documentation prepared and the application filled up correctly to avoid any delays or problems. If you have good documentation, a good IELTS score and a good educational background, nothing will stop you in getting a visa.
