Some questions

I have some questions and I hope I can get some answers:
  1. My score is 469, do you think I have a chance within the next few months to get invited? I see that they are drawing CEC and PNP specific people which is worrying me.
  2. Is French level B2 (DELF equivalency - I know it has to be TFC or TEF) required for the extra bonus score or is it a lower score? I am talking about the big bonus especially when combined with CLB 8.0 in IELTS.
  3. If I do get invited, how do I prove my work experience? Are HR letters enough? Do they have specific requirements?
  4. Can 2.5 years get rounded up to 3 years?
  5. I have seen the Ontario provincial nomination for tech workers. Do I need to apply to it or do they just pick people from the Express Entry pool without need to have a job offer?
Thanks!

1. No idea.

2. Check https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/criteria-comprehensive-ranking-system/grid.html section D.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/language-requirements.html

3. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html find proof of work experience. That’s the requirements for reference letters

4. IRCC doesn’t round up work experience, if you have 2.5 years, they’ll only give points to 2 years.

5. They pick candidates from the pool, based on your CRS. Check the draw results back in 2020. There’s no schedule either on when they’ll draw from the pool. Ontario is only given an allocation on how many people it can invite under their provincial program every year. https://www.ontario.ca/page/2020-ontario-immigrant-nominee-program-updates

1- Do you know what NCLC 7 in French is equivalent to in DELF?
2- Can the jobs have different codes?
3- So basically I don't need to "apply" to the Ontario PNP. They pick people automatically who are already in the Express Entry pool, correct?

1. No idea

2. Yes. As long as your primary NOC is one year and continuous.

3. Yes. When OINP does its tech draws, it usually has a CRS range closer to the federal’s bi-weekly draw’s cut offs.
