IF YOU ARE A SOCIAL WORKER AND IF YOU NEED TO REGISTER IN ANY PROVINCE IN CANADA AS SOCIAL WORKER, it is a SIMPLE TASK

1. GATHER YOUR DOCUMENTS FROM THE SCHOOL OR UNIVERSITIES WHERE YOU STUDIED
2. DOCUMENT IT PROPERLY... BE VERY CAREFUL WHILE YOU DO YOUR DOCUMENTATION!!!!
3. DECIDE WHICH PROVINCE YOU ARE MIGRATING
4. SEND IT TO TO CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF SOCIAL WORKERS, OTTAWA, ONTARIO, CANADA
5. WAIT FOR A MONTH OR TWO... YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR POSITIVE REPLY!
6. BE HAPPY!
7. GET YOUR PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR WORK PERMIT
8. APPLY TO THE PROVINCIAL REGISTRATION BODY
9. BE HAPPY AND WAIT.
10 YOU WILL RECEIVE IT BY MAIL

don't wait your money and time by going to Ryerson University Program..
faculties from Ryerson suggested this option to me. so why you don't try this...

I TRIED THIS OPTION AND I AM SUCEESFUL... BUT NOW I DON'T WANT BE A SOCIAL WORKER.. I WANT BE A LAWYER.. SO I AHVE APPLIED TO OTTAWA UNIVERSITY LAW SCHOOL.. ( FORGOT TO SAY... I WAS A LAWYER BEFORE.. I GOT MY LAW EDUCATION CREDENTIALS ALSO GOT EVALUATED AND I NEED TO STUDY ONLY FOUR SUBJECTS TO STUDY..
good suggestion indeed
wishes

It is not a requirement to register (acquiring provincial license) before applying for FSW. Perhaps if you at the medical stage and SURE of which province you want to settle in, you can obtain a licence from that province. Average registration fee for the lisence is about $CAD320, which is quite a substantial sum of money. So registration/provincial licensure is not a requirement, neither is credential evaluation. The latter is only a recommendation from CIC.

Dear Mandie & Nashe,

I was going through my application forms and just now realized that I made a mistake while filling Schedule 3 form Question 11 "Your Work experience" .

I am presently working as Customer Service Executive NOC Code-1213, but by mistake I wrote down NOC code 1233.

I have no idea how I have made such a stupid mistake.

Though this experience of mine will not be counted for work experience as I have not mentioned this job for question 12 -order of preference, is there anything that I should do?

Please reply

Shami

So far as you are not applying under NOC 1213, it shouldnt be a problem. There has been instances where wrong NOC codes led to rejection, as they match ur experience with the MI .

MI - Ministerial Instruction. It is a guide with the main duties of all the NOCS, which VO uses to ascertain if an applicant's experience matches with the duties stipulated. Most rejections are bcos applicants' experience are not a reflection of the MI. Check this site:

Hi Shami, I agree with Mandie. I assume their focus will be on the NOC under which you are going to claim points i.e 4152. So stay calm, and hope for the best.
Cheers,
Nashe

Thanks Nashe for the assurance, both you and mandie has helped me a lot during the whole process.

As you mentioned, I need to stay calm, fingers crossed.

I will have to lookout for my CC charging, that way I will have some clue regarding the completeness check being over.

Wish you all luck.
