I have a question guys, what is social services benefits? I just got my landing letter and it says that I need to bring proof of employment and proof of income if i am currently recieving welfare or social welfare benefits. Right now I am not working, I am on maternity benefits from EI. I have a five month old healthy baby boy by the way...

EI is not social services benefits. It is an insurance scheme, you pay in when you work and you collect when you are unemployed.
