Social Insurance Number Through .jobbank.gc.ca

Hello Everyone,
I am a new Member in this Forum and i am really looking for your help ... i tried so many times to register in jobbank website but unfortunatly they asked me for Social Insurance Number and honestly i have No idea how i can get it and from where do i need to request for ??
Can any one please help me with regards to my Query ??

You only get a SIN when you have a legal status in Canada, like PR or work permit.

thank you so much for you responce .... so i can still apply for jobs whithout creating an account even if have idon't have a legal status in Canada, like PR or work permit ?? or i must have SIN ??

There is an option (top right) for EE immigrants, click and you need to input EE profile # and verification code instead (given in the pdf file).

What I think is you can apply without the SIN if you are outside Canada. If any employer picks you from the pool they take care of giving you a Work permit and SIN ( most of them do).

But there is no possible way you can get a SIN number while outside Canada. So the only option left is apply without it.

You don't need social insurance number to create the job bank account.
As a member posted in the other page,just go here:

https://seeker.jobbank.gc.ca/seeker/login.xhtml

and follow this:

on the right-->create an account-->I Agree-->Enter your new account info-->get the confirmation code email-->
copy that into the website-->continue-->on the top right-->click on immigration express entry candidate-->then put your Express Entry Profile Number & Job Seeker Validation Code from your pdf.

To get an express entry code, you must apply through express entry first.

It is perfectly fine to look for a job outside Canada. But chances are slim to get one. Would you employ someone from Xville, in Yland? Someone you do not know, never seen, never met? So, stay realistic, the best way to get a job is applying from within Canada, the city or area you choose to live in.

After entering the code received in mail.. i don see an option in top right for express entry immigration cadidate, can any of you please post a screenshot.
I am finding difficulties as in creating job bank profile as it is asking for SIN number.

Hi Seniors,

i hold PR and SIN too. but still my SIN is not getting accepted while registering myself with jobsbank site. I dont have Non 9 serial SIN , i have nornal 9 digit SIN. I was 2014 applicant

So everything is normal..Any idea why it is not getting through.

I'm also trying to register on the job bank website. By my SIN number is not being accepted. I have a 9-digit number that starts with 5 (issued from ontario). I landed in 2015. Is it possible that my SIN could be inactive. Thanks.

Talking about SIN, are there any CEC/FSW applicants who successfully migrated all their Tax Credits from their former SIN that begin with a "9", onto their NEW SIN card as a PR?

Is it a smooth process?
