But wait doesnt housing check ur taxes and stuff? Cuz they do with mine. Wouldnt they see that ur no longer listed as single but as a married individual? Or did u wait till he was a permanent resident to change ur statuts from single to married for canada revenue/taxes?
You're allowed to be married and live in housing. You don't need to report to them when you get married, you just need to report when someone new begins living in the home. So if they see on the notice of assessment you're married, it shouldn't be a problem.

It will become an issue if your family income goes up by quite a lot. Depending on where your spouse is from that will or will not be an issue.
