Here's my timeline:

Application submitted: Nov. 2005
AOR received: Dec. 2005

That's it -- not a word from them since and it's going to be a year soon. I noticed that the processing time has increased on the CIC web site as well :-(
What are your experiences and timelines so far? Any hope to hear something from them soon?

Applied Buffalo September 2005
AOR September 2005
Interview waived, medicals requested September 2006

I had a very complete file at the time of application and they asked for no additional documents other than proof of funds.

Just pray that you don't get transferred to Detroit or you're screwed. Pardon the expression, but I'm just really annoyed.

AOR: 13 June 2005
Transferred: 13 June 2006
And that's it. Nothing. Nada.

Lots of folks who got transferred elsewhere (e.g., Seattle) or who didn't get transferred at all are getting IAs, requests for meds, PPR, etc. Like links18, for example. I don't know what's going on in Detroit (and Campbell Cohen doesn't seem interested in trying to find out), but it's really getting beyond frustrating. Can ya' tell? -)

Anyway, from the looks of several timelines, etc., if you have a Dec 2005 AOR you will probably get IA or transfer soon after that. I wouldn't expect anything before that time unless you're really living under a lucky star.

hey i am a pnp applicant

AOR :21 NOV 2005
MEDICALS REQUESTED :25 FEB 2006
MEDICALS SEND: 3 MARCH 2006
SECURITY INTERVIEW :13 AUG 2006
AND NOW I AM WAITING FOR THE PPR

Hey links1,

what date did you apply in sep 2005 and which country are you from? I have AOR on sep 21, 2005 and no word since. Kindly clarify your position.

Thanks,
SMV

Hmm, it seems some people have got it very fast while others are still waiting. Is there any official reason for these delays / inconsistencies? I'd appreciate it if more people could post their timelines here and any theories they may have about why things are being transferred to Detroit, etc. I know that there has to be more than a few people in a similar situation. Thanks.

I applied mid September (15th or so) and received AOR on the 28th. I am a US citizen.

Well, it looks pretty random regarding the file transfers and processing times. I guess we just have to wait patiently.

hey
i think the main reason for this delay is the background check in my case it have bugan since september and didn't finish yet although i did a security interview on 12-aug-2006
