There are no fixed requirements. As a PR, your best bet would be the BDC which offers loans of up to $250k for entrepreneurs.

Is there any bank in Canada who's offering loans to the outsider who are not the Canadian's nationality holder but living in Canada.

If you are not a PR like me, all I could get was 5k from Scotiabank.

Would depend what kind of collateral you have.

Can a new immigrant get business loan? No collateral, just a little above POF for family of 2.

Maybe a couple of thousand but that is it. It would be too risky to offer a large loan.

Looking at getting a small business loan to open up a restaurant. I know there's a couple of small business beyonders here so I'm wondering what bank/financial institutions you deal with?
