Skilled Professional - Self Applicants - Indian Candidates - 2017

I am a skilled professional currently working in Infosys who wishes to apply for Canada for PR/Express Entry (EoI) basis.
I have done a lot of research online to make sure I start and end the process correctly.

But we all know how difficult the process of application could be if you are doing it all by yourself.
So I am here seeking help from my fellow applicants, who have successfully filed their cases in 2016.
I would also like this thread to be foundation thread for all applicants planning to file for Canada in 2017.

If anyone has successfully applied for the Express Entry category in 2016, kindly share the roadmap as in how to proceed.
There are so many confusions related to the ECA and other pre-requisites before filing the application.

Requesting the fellow applicants to share info as in how they have started the process & what they did to wrap it successfully.
Looking for a community support from all who have successfully applied for all who are fighting right now to get info.

Can anybody please also illuminate if we need to give details of the secondary education in ECA?
I have done my B.Tech from PTU and my secondary from PSEB.

So do I have to get transcript from both PTU and PSEB or just degree transcript from PTU will suffice for the ECA?

IMO just degree transcript, normally they say its the highest degree....but sometimes institutes like WES canada for masters would also ask you to submit bachelor's transcripts.

You will never need to provide your secondary transcripts.
If you're getting your ECA through WES, there is a list of documents you will need to supply. It is easily found on WES's website.
I have no experience with other ECA providers, but I'm sure they all have some sort of checklist.
