Given economic conditions, employment prospects, considering your travel history, economic establishment and family ties, I am not satisfied that you would respect the terms of your admission as a temporary resident in Canada.

I got passport request today for my sister; what are the next steps; can anyone submit original passport/passport request letter on behalf of my sister ?

Please advice asap. Her tickets are already done for 2nd June early morning; how much time it takes for visa to get stamped ?

Congrats :)

It's a really close call. Where does your sister live?
We have submitted her passport in Delhi VFS office on Friday i.e 26th May 2017 later during the day and asked for manual collection.
So either my elder brother or some friend will collect her passport. Do you know approx how much time they take to stamp visitor visa
after passport request ?

She could expect her passport around Wednesday-Thursday of next week at VFS.

Hope she has included a copy of her flight tickets + a letter requesting expedited stamping when she submitted her passport

Her visa stamping has been pretty fast and just-in-time before her flight.

The person authorized by her can pick up her passport from VFS tomorrow morning (if she has not opted for delivery by courier)

how did you make stronger the rejections the first time?
I just applied for 5th time for my sister in law- may 19th, still waiting, although the processing time shows 10 days its now over 10, hoping thats a good sign i guess this time around... we kept getting rejection for the employment situation and assets, however yet again we provided her ownership of property , value in CAD , and again her job employment letter in which she has been working for since 2011...no idea but hoping 5th time around is a charm!

Five times!! I don't think we have come across a similar case where someone has been as determined as your sister-in-law :)

Hope you have not been applying in quick succession + you have addressed the refusal reasons cited in the four refusal letters vis-a-vis only addressing the last refusal reasons.

Did you order case notes?

Hope she gets lucky this time

yes each time gcms notes , because she is 22 , single, no deps, no travel history, we have addressed the rejections each time so i hope so...but i wont keep my hopes up, last time we applied it went over the processing time by 3 days, and got refused, this time its almost been 3 days and still nothing...fingers crossed, what I added differently this time was we have 4 other family members with visitor visas, including her mother, so we added all that along with passports and visa #s etc so I am hoping the visa officer sees that as a PLUS as we have an outstanding record and none of them have ever surpassed their time here not even by a day so.... u have any suggestions? or views? you think this time we have a better chance? I know we had the MP letter, and the MP letter was addressed to the high commissioner at the visa office this time around so I dont know if that plays a role, and i think it does because in the gcms notes it states "MP letter due consideration,"

It wasn't necessary to state the obvious  The fact that your other family members have valid TRVs will show up on the IRCC system.

IMO, this could work against her current application as her family ties to Canada will be stronger than those to her home country.

Hope you have not indicated that the other family members are traveling with her. Or alternatively, hope you have provided evidence that only your sister-in-law will travel this time while the other family members remain in their home country.

I wouldn't pin my hopes on the letter from the MP. It doesn't influence a visa decision

well we wait and see...nope.only she is travelling...and only asked for 2 weeks so lets see... nope she has all her family in home country except her brother in canada so it shouldnt work against her..but again we will see..not sure how the person above was able to get approved..probably age played a factor
