Hi,

I have recently moved to Regina on a permanent resident visa through the SINP. Now I have been told by my relatives that I need to live in Saskatchewan province for two years before I can move out from here. Is this fact true? Also I have been told that it really doesnt matter if I live in the province or no once I get my PR card. The only thing is that my aunt will not be able to apply for anyone else. Now my only thing is alright if i move how will the saskatchewan govt find out that I did not live in Regina for two years?
Is it through my tax records or bank statements or telephone biils. If thats the case I can always have a bank account here and maintain a mobile no as well.
If someone can answer this question of mine it would be of great help!!

How did u reach to Regina, SK? Is it through SINP family stream or skilled worker? & from which country?

It depends on all these things.

Let us know this. I can give answer of all these questions after that.

Having bank account and mobile phone here will not work because the govt ask for more detailed documents.
Consider that if you move to another province that not only your family here would not be able to sponser anyone else but everyone else because they will shut the program down if people keep abusing it.

If u move to another province, your tax documents will show it even if you have a phone and address in Regina. If you wanna be good to your aunt then stick around coz she may want to sponsor other people. You may also want to sponsor others.

stay there atleast for 1 year. DO NOT MOVE TO OTHER PROVINCE.
