I Put my file for SINP - International Skill Worker with Job Offer Latter in last January 2016 & I got my Application Number on 09.03.2016 and after long time in 21st November Embassy call for verification . ( After approx 7-8 Months ) .

And now yet there is no any feedback or any update.

Can any one tell me now what is next ? and yet how many time they take for other process ( if possible give me full description with approx time )

Because i did my IELTS in Jully 2015 and now this year jully 2017 its expired

So what can i do ? give me guideline and suggestion as u all possible.

I have a question, can we apply for express entry at the same time when we have our PR file already processed through the PNP program? This medical thing is taking too long and I am just wandering should I opt another option at the same time, because the period for Express Entry is like almost 5-6 months, where as this PNP thing looks like gonna take years...

Hey Anzee,

First, u will lose 550$ application fee

Second, do u have CRS score good enough to go through express entry? For example, on my SINP letter it said apply paper based non express entry. that means i am not getting extra 600 points. i calculated my CRS points (i approximate the english test as i did not need to do it for PNP) and i got about 450-470. that is bare minimum. no guarantee u will get ITA (invitation to apply). and u can get stuck in pool for a while

Third, my buddy is taking english test (he goes through express entry). it could be pain as well

My formula
English test for Express Entry + Medical + gather all documents roughly not too much shorter than Paper based. Yes it takes 6 months, but what about time to prepare everything. PNP was easy for me as it required all same documents as SINP

I say, be patient. u already in the process it is a matter of time and we all gonna get permanent resident

again PNP is long but safe, while express entry is risky but fast

I recently just applied for a post graduate work permit and just recently got a full time job offer. I'm trying not to hesitate so I might need to know the list of docs needed so once my PGWP is approved, I can go ahead and talk with my employer to push for a job approval letter.

Now, do I need to spend some time on the job as I know that SINP student category says job offer of Permanent, Full-time Employment in Saskatchewan and not specific of spending time with the company before one can apply.

Moreso, how do I go about the police report? Do I go to the police quarters to request for a finger print form and send back to my home country.

Please advise me on the whole forms I need to get and what I need to know ahead as I really want to push ahead.

Definitely u want to show that u are good, before asking employer to go on SINP website and create a profile. But ask in advance and prepare them. My company is a non-profit organization run by board. At first it was tough for them to decide either they wanna do SINP letter for me or not. Tell your employer IT IS NOT SPONSORSHIP (my employer was thinking it is). In addition what scares some of them that they will need to upload legal information, audits and canada revenue tax information. My suggestion, go and talk to them - best person to talk to might be your manager, but the most useful one is CFO or people from Financial/Tax department of your company

You can get police clearance check from local police or RCMP. Giving an example, i was living in Saskatoon. I go to Saskatoon Police and they do right away. U pay 35$ (it was at that time) for basic one. U do not need advanced ones. Now i live in small city in SK. We do not have city police but we have RCMP, same deal I go to RCMP, pay 25$. But with RCMP it takes longer. Regarding your home, You may need a police certificate from any country or territory that you have spent six months or more since the age of 18. But remember it is may. good to have though

Let me share what I did..

I asked my employers in assisting me on applying for SINP before I accepted their Job Offer. I know it might sound weird.. but hey time is running and I want them to be informed of this beforehand. After 6 months of working with them, I finally asked them if we can start on processing my SINP (March 2016).

how do I go about the police report? Do I go to the police quarters to request for a finger print form and send back to my home country.

I went to a local police here in a small town in SK. I think it took them a week? to give the police clearance to me as they have to send it to Regina. I then also started to process my police clearance from my home country (Philippines). which probably took like a month...or less as it needed to go to SK - Calgary (Phil. consulate) - SK - Philippines - SK.

Thanks guys. But if I ask and the employer decides to help me once I get my PGWD, I guess am lucky then without waiting for 6 months or is there a law that one must work 6 months in regards to getting the Job approval letter from SINP.
