Thanks guys. But if I ask and the employer decides to help me once I get my PGWD, I guess am lucky then without waiting for 6 months or is there a law that one must work 6 months in regards to getting the Job approval letter from SINP.
Waiting for the forms/list Anton.

Hey sakssey23,

U need to have PGWD to apply for SINP. You do not need to work 6months for job approval letter. It is totally up to you and your employer

Are u employed fulltime permanent?

What is your NOC?

You may apply for job approval letter at anytime after you are hired, but you are only eligible to apply sinp after 6 months you work at the same employer.
For me I requested my employer to apply job approval letter for me after I passed the 3 months probation which I think it is reasonable because they want to hire me on a permanent basis.
By the way, the HR knows how to apply for jal much better than I do because they have done this for a couple of employees years ago, so it is not tough for my employer to do so.
Just share my jal, sinp and cic timeline with you.

Everything of you is pretty fast :D :D
Sure you will receive your medical exam quite soon....

Thanks guys.
I'm single and yes I have a full time job offer although am still on probation.
I'm hoping I get my PGWP approved soonest so I can push. I would always update and seek help/advice whenever necessary. Appreciate friends

I'm under the NOC A as I just had to re-check. I noticed on the form list Anton, it stated police report if applicable. That got me wondering. If I can get one from Canada alone, am I good to go or i'd have to get from my home country aswell?

Hey sakssey23,

Getting in Canada is easy ;D I came to Canada from Ukraine at age 17, so I am a bit lucky that i have to present nothing from there. It is hit and miss regarding police records from abroad. There is no clear answer on cic website. as you saw they mentioned may (not must). There is only one issue I see, if they would ask for one, it might take you some time, then translate it.

My suggestion, if u can do police record from home while u apply for SINP. For SINP everything is electronic and u will be able to upload translated police record from your country if asked. With CIC you will need to send original translated.

I guess sasakaka was right. At least now u can start talking to HR, your manager or CFO or director of company and show them what they need to do on SINP side

Print the guide for them http://publications.gov.sk.ca/documents/310/85882-Employer%20Guide%20Online-May10%202016.pdf

It took couple months in total from employer registering to me getting sinp

Hey ,

I forgot to mention.... If you need help filling up documents (SINP online might be a bit tricky) u can use free help, for example Open Door in Regina, Battlefords Immigration Resource Center, etc. In every city there is Immigration help

DO NOT USE LAWYER - Somebody said they try to charge 3000$ for sinp F them!!!

Anton
