My work permit will expire in 7 months , at the end of August. Do you think I can use this excuse to ask them to fasten my case? Maybe not, still 7 months....

sasakaka,

do u have job offer?

if yes, u do not need to worry about anything.

Once u apply for PR and get AOR u are gold!!!

If your SINP letter says EMPLOYMENT RESTRICTION YES -> u apply for for closed work permit providing AOR email.
If your SINP letter says EMPLOYMENT RESTRICTION NO -> u apply for bridging open work permit.

If u have 7 months i think and hope u will be ok to receive AOR

CIC received my papers on May 9 and July 11 I got AOR.

If u look at Elained timeline, it took her longer, but i still estimate ~3months to get AOR

My suggestion, get everything ready (police clearance took couple days because i live in small city, job reference letters i did in advance)

Let me know how it goes

Hey Wonderland,

I my case it is totally different. I had a lot of time on PGWP, but just took 1 week for SINP letter
I might be wrong but it might be based on intake. More applicants might effect the processing time

Thanks

Anton

Yes i think so
in apr 2016 when you submitted the application, they didn't open OID and EE for four months, so there were less cases to process.
they opened for 1000 oid and ee just after i submitted my application......so pretty slow
i emailed them last week and the officer who handles my case said it is review assigned and in the second stage of the four stages go through the processing.

Yes I have job offer which my employer applied to me last september.
And i have already done the police certificate of motherland, as per rcmp certificate, they said it is not necessary to do it as cic usually doesn't ask for it.

As per your application, i have some advice.
My good friend at saskatoon got his nomination May, 2016 (OID without job offer) and submitted application to cic the same month. He received AOP at August and did the upfront medical exam next month (Sep). Then in Nov he received request for RPRF and police certificate of his home country, and at that time his profile shows that medical test passed.
So you may do an upfront medical exam and the doctor will upload online. I think this may save a lot of time of waiting med request.

Hey,

according to cic if you were 18+ age and lived in country for 6+ months u need to provide a police record check. I am almost 100% sure u need rcmp or local police record check

regarding medical - i live in small city and it will not be problem. Even if u upload all documents it will not cut processing time a lot. when u check app processing time 15 months. it will remain about same.

i will check if i can do upfront medical

As per the processing time, some people under sinp nomination got ppr around 10 months as far as I know. While it really depends on the luck. For me the price time for application with job offer is 0.3month, but mine has been submitted three weeks still in process....so sad

Hello sasakaka,

it is kinda sad a bit that OID flood SINP office and u need to wait. S*cks that they do not give higher priority to people who are here in canada, saskatchewan and who have employer.

Good luck to u.

hope u get SINP letter soon

let us know how it goes

Anton

I would agree, I don't think doing an upfront med. exam would cut processing time. I think it will stay the same...Unless you have some very good luck!

The waiting game for PNP is very strong.
