Is it possible to update the profile and mention another NOC if it can be supported via business reference letters? Want to ensure I have the best shot at it.

Well it's not that straightforward. My role in the last 4 years had evolved and overlaps with another job code i.e. purchasing. 0113 I guess. I could see if I performed enough of the responsibilities of 0113 matching with the description to qualify.

If not, then I will likely stick with 1122. Better to be accurate and ethical.

I am a bit confused between OID and EE programs. They sound very similar. Is creating a federal EE profile the only difference? Both seem to direct to the same questions on NOC requirements on the SINP page.

In that case you will get only 8 points for job experience. Is it sufficient?
What will be your points score with that 8 in SINP points assessment grid?

for SINP, you can only claim experience in a single NOC code.

secondly, both OID and EE streams are the same as per my understanding

what i have observed during recent SINP draws that the number of invitations are declining gradually. Good news for the ones got selected as the stream might probably be heading towards it’s intake pause or NOC exclusion revision.

I have one more problem-
i have all the needed employment reference documents from my first employer and current employer.

But from second employer I just have offer letter, paystubs and w2 documents.
The problem is this company is no longer in business, i cannot get any additional reference letters etc. from it. What can I do in such situation?

Quick Question ... Did you submitted your application for SINP ? Just curious about status of your application and timeline ? Did you get any feedback ?

I did submitted in Dec 23 (NOC 2171) and status is Application Received . Not sure , How much time it will take to get ADR or Status change ?

Hi friends, I need your immediate (as I have to submit application against ITA) expert answer for my sister's case on the following questions please:

1. 2172 is regulated NOC for SINP or not? If Yes who is the regulated body APEGS or CIPS or AITP, or SIP or ITCP.

2. Basically my sister has Degree of Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in "Computer & Information Systems" and Degree of Master of Engineering in "Computer Systems". Should she get registration with APEGS or CIPS or AITP, SIP or ITCP?

3. As per my understanding as she is engineer so she must be registered through APEGS but she had applied in SINP through NOC 2174 (as she has work experience in all three NOCs 2172, 2173 & 2174) and had got ITA from SINP but I am now confused if SINP will say that you must be registered with CIPS not with AEPGS, as her case for licensure with APEGS is already in progress. please advise should she also go for registration with CIPS?

4. If she proceed as software engineer with NOC 2173 (for which registration with APEGS is required, see below link), then you know SINP will not nominate for NOC 2173 and If she proceed for NOC 2174 or 2172 (which SINP are nominating), I have apprehension that SINP will reject my sister case with reason that she should be registered with CIPS, please advise me I am much confused.

Be informed, she has got ITA against NOC 2174 from SINP now we have to submit the application.

This below link clearing showing if you are Software Engineer (NOC 2173,) then you need to be registered with APEG and for NOCs 2174 & 2175 you must be registered with CIPS.

Really I am looking for your expert prompt reply, thanks in advance.
