Hi @ashuindian I am applying for NOC 0911 manufacturing manager with over 17 years of experience in manufacturing with reputable companies. I have Bachelors in engineering & M.B.A. I could apply for other NOCs but this one fits my profile most closely &, more importantly, does not require license( for which the wait is too long)

I missed the August 9 intake but currently I am preparing application for the next SINP OID intake. However, I am turning 50 mid-September, which would reduce my points below 60. Really hoping it opens sometimes before that!

You are in luck, as the current grid provides points through and including age 50, so it is only when one turns 51 (at the time of application) that they would no longer have those points.

@SnippingI had a general idea that your points automatically decrease at your birthday, especially for CIC Express Entry. Is this age criteria specifically the one for for SINP EE/OID?

As per SINP grid, perhaps the way you put it, it is 8 points for 40-50 and 0 points for>50, by which it means after your 51st birthday.

Could you please provide me with a source for this or someone who has experienced this already. That would be really comforting! Thanks in advance!:)

Snipping is right. Why don't you insert figures in Oasis or other Age calculator tools. And check it. SINP has different criteria.

The SINP grid can be found here:

https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residen...ional-skilled-workers/assess-your-eligibility

Please keep in mind that the criteria can change at any time, including the grid, although this is less likely than changes to those occupations that are 'In Demand' in the province. As many have experienced, the popular 2171 NOC was taken away in May 2017, and the list changed again after that (still no 2171 NOC).

Comment: Points for age up to and including 50 is quite generous, and is not the case for the Federal 67-point grid under Express Entry. Here's hoping that Saskatchewan continues to value experience in life and in the NOC, as they are both important!

Why? I do not have any progress.
What is your NOC? They also have list of High demand occupations. First check it.
I don't know much about that. You read it yourself.

My noc falls in their list.... But no where mentioned about when we should show the pof for nova Scotia ie whether the funds should be their 3 months prior application like sinp....its not mentioned in CIC site either...

Do u have IRCC EE profile? What is your IELTS score?
Yes, overall 6.5.....with all modules above 6......one more doubt....do we need to submit hard copies of all our documents at any stage of process or just the soft copies are only required.
