SINP - JANUARY INTAKE 2016 Q&A.

They received my application in OID stream. But as I dont have my birth certificate translated, i attached it in my native language: portuguese. I will translate it this week(certified, of course). I saw other small mistakes. For instance, i did not uploaded any proof of my work experience and proof of funds.

What is better in those cases of an incomplete application:
1) wait them ask for missing docs first? Or...
2) send by e-mail as soon as can before they ask?

Do you think it is possible they reject immediately my application because of missing documents or they will give me a chance by asking what is missing?

I think it would be better to e-mail them as soon as you have all.

II. PRE-SCREENING

• Pre-screening is conducted to check that applications are “complete”. A “complete”
application has all the documents listed in the document Checklist as outlined in the
Application Guide.
• If the application is deemed complete, a receipt confirmation letter will be sent to the
email address provided in the application. The applicant is responsible for ensuring that
their contact information is up-to-date.
• If the application is deemed incomplete, the application will not be accepted and a letter
will be sent by email to the applicant indicating which documents are needed to apply
again.
• An application with invalid supporting documents (i.e. blank, partial, unidentifiable
or irrelevant) is considered incomplete.

^Its asking on the final page that whether you have applied for province/canadain federal program=i applied for fsw and express entry before but not to any specific province before..WHAT SHD I WRITE YESor No???

I tried to cancel my application but it's only deleted the pre application details.
Do I need to email them to cancel the application

If you are are from India, then you can use school certificate as it should have your father/mother name.

In certain cases I've seen people providing Self Declaration signed in front of a notary - but again, i've onle heard about such a few times.

Ideally, you need to try to get your BC - as it is important.

Hello everyone !

I am new here. I just applied for the SINP - Occupations in demand category online and surprisingly, on pressing submit - it says application received and generated an application number too. So, does that mean my application has gone even though the website says the number of applications they can accept for this stream is zero.
Does that mean 2016 intake is now open ???
Please suggest.

Guys too many questions for minimum MONEY amount, info for funds here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

which must be stable in your account for 90 days prior to submission.

you have to provide 3 months banks statement + bank certificate as PROOF of Funds

Hi friends! I am confused about proof of funds. When I applied for Study Permit I had to provide a documents about source of the funds. So should we do it in SINP?? I did not find the requirements in the Guide.
And what does proof of funds means? Is it a proof that I HAVE money, not how I got them, right?

You have to show funds for the past 90 days.

If the money just bumped into your account from no-obvious reason, then it is better to explain where you you got them FROM. I.e. gift deed (affidavit)

As per site - yes, it is closed, but hundreds of people submitted via OASIS - as the system allows to submit.

Yes, there is, maybe, just theoretically, a chance that its a system glitch.
